Hi!
I've been so busy and hardly home in the past two weeks. We're getting the new place ready and it has been exhausting. This long weekend has been filled with painting, painting, and more painting. I did manage to read two books this week, I look for a spare few minutes to read every chance I can get. Here's the Ebooks I purchased.
13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick
Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday
Life Lessons From My Grandmother by Adriana Trigiani
The Keeper by Suzanne Woods Fisher
The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot
Duff by Kody Keplinger
The Lace Makers of Glenmara by Heather Barbieri
The Winds of War by Herman Wouk
Good luck with the new place :-) I love the freshly painted walls.
ReplyDeleteThe list of your recent purchases looks impressive. I would like to know what you think about The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot. It is on my TBR list. BTW, if you search for that title on Goodreads you will see tons of books with the same title by various authors. Can get confusing :-)
Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI hope that all your hard work is starting to be rewarded and that the new place will soon feel like home.
Can't believe you still had time to search out all those great books. There are a couple that I probably wouldn't go for, but on the whole it's a good selection.
If I had to single out just one for my TBR shelves, it would be 'The Lacemakers Of Glenmara', although all of your titles are new to me, so thanks for sharing,
Yvonne
I really enjoyed The Lace Makers of Glenmara. Hope all the work will be done soon and you can relax a bit!
ReplyDeleteI strangely enough did not like A Reliable Wife - you've certainly picked up a pile. I hope you get to enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to read The Winds of War, it looks like such a good book. Hope you enjoy it!

Yay Deadly Cool! That was such a fun book I thought:) Despite the murder, it's a light, quick read that made me laugh. Hope you enjoy it too Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteGreat mailbox! Once the painting is over (it's hard to paint with the heat wave we're having, huh?), you can enjoy your new place. Won't be long now.

ReplyDeleteOh, the new place? That sounds fun though, even if it's hard work! I actually might be moving in a few weeks myself (for the first time I might add!), so I'm quite excited. o:
ReplyDeleteI love your book haul! It definitely sounds good and I'm seriously curious about both Duff and Deadly Cool! I've heard some great things about them:)
Moving is always so time consuming so I'm impressed you found as much time to read as you did. Great picks this week!
