In my mailbox

I'm really trying not to buy too many books. I really want to get through some of the books I keep putting off. In the last few weeks, I only bought 3 Ebooks. That's really good for me. :)

Also, since I bought my Kindle I've been using Edelweiss and Netgalley a lot more. Egalley's don't expire on Kindle and the formatting seems much better.

I haven't received any review books this week.

On the Island by Tracey Garvus Graves

The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks

    I've heard City of Women is fantastic! I didn't realize eGalleys don't expire on the Kindle. Enjoy your new books.

    I'm getting City of Women on audio and I read On the Island, which I loved. Mmmm, are you saying that Netgalley books expire on Kobo but not on Kindle?

      That's right. Once the file is sent to the Kindle, it saves in the archive and doesn't delete. I use my Kindle for my egalley's.

      I use my Kobo for other books, since I have over 300 books bought. I'm interested in the new Kobo glo.

    I shall have to google more on City of Women. I don't think I'd want to live in a city of women, however. I'd need an occasional cowboy.

    I have the audio of City of Women and it does sound good. On the Island also looks like a wonderful read. I also like the convenience of reading galley's on my kindle- wish all netgalley books were available in that format. Enjoy all your books!
