In My Mailbox

Yesterday, I noticed my Google subscriber number drop. I realized my Google Friend Connect was disabled. As a result, many followers are no longer subscribed to my blog and I am no longer subscribed to many blogs. I'm trying to work through this, and re-add many blogs.

I have reinstalled the Blogger Follower widget, and I'm hoping to get my followers back.

In My Mailbox/ It's Monday. What Are you Reading?

I had a quite book week, and didn't receive any review books. I'm trying to be more selective on review books, and accept much less. I don't like feeling overwhelmed, and I still buy a lot books. This week I purchased one ebook, I've heard so many good things about this book.

January has been a great reading month for me. I've been reading more adult fiction, and a little less Young Adult books. I love Young Adult, but sometimes I feel I need more variety. Young Adult has a lot of fantasy, paranormal, and dystopian and I don't want to feel like i'm reading repetitive themes. I feel like the balance of adult fiction, and young adult has been really refreshing for me.

In My Mailbox (Books, Books and a Kobo Vox!)




It's been a few weeks since I've done an In My Mailbox post. These are review copies that I've received in the last couple weeks. I'm really excited about reading them.

I also got this for Christmas:


It's a pink Kobo Vox! I really like the Kobo app, and I use it on my Ipad all the time, but I don't like bringing my Ipad on the metro while travelling to work. So, this is perfect for me. It's smaller, and I can use all the same reading apps, I use on the Ipad. I'll be reviewing it on the blog soon.

I can't believe Christmas is 2 weeks away! I've been really busy with baking, shopping and decorating. I hope everyone has been enjoying the season. Montreal hasn't had much snow, and I've been very happy with no snow. I did have a good week for review books, and I've been getting more and more 2012 Debut books.

In My Mailbox

While I was on vacation, I didn't receive too many review books. These are the ones I have recieved in the past two weeks, I'm really excited to read them all. Especially, As Long as the Rivers Flow and The Virgin Cure. I've been waiting to Ami McKay's newest book for so long! I'm glad it is finally out. I have quite a few Canadian authors in this post, and that always makes me happy.

Robin knows that I tend to buy ebooks of books I own, this enables me to keep my books in perfect condition. She sent me two packs of cards in case I wanted to keep one "like-new."
