Notice the drop letter is actually dropped to the second line. This continued on EVERY page! This was only an issue on my KOBO Vox using the Kobo App, when I downloaded the DRM file to Overdrive, it looked normal.
Also, I purchased Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood, and the cover stated "Advanced Uncorrected Galley-Not For Sale." As a blogger, I know what a galley is.
I've opened a ticket with Kobo, I'm hoping they can look into these issues.

ReplyDeleteOhh, that's so weird!! :O I don't have an e-reader of my own so I can't compare technical problems, but I don't think that should be happening at all. I can't believe that your copy of Born Wicked that you purchased has that message on the cover -- I've never heard of that happening before!

I have found a few formatting issues with books that I have listed for Kindle. It seems that when the book is converted, gliches appear that aren't in the original file. It's very frustrating for authors. I haven't heard of "dropped" letters though.
