Mailbox Monday

Hi!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. We finally moved, and we're all unpacked! We've been bringing over boxes and unpacking all week. Friday, we just had all the big furniture. I might have evenings back soon. What will I do? Oh, right...read! We have a few more things to get done this week, and then we will be all settled. Simon and Schuster sent me 2 books that's I'm very excited about. If you went to BEA, I hope you had a wonderful trip! I'm hoping to go next year. Here is what I got this week:

Burn for Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian

Gilded Age by Claire McMillan

I also bought some ebooks:

Bone China by Roma Tearne

City of Veils by Zoe Ferraris

Hate List by Jennifer Brown

Motorcycles and Sweetgrass by Drew Hayden Taylor

  1. My friend got Burn for Burn at BEA, although I never saw it, but it looks amazing! The Gilded Age looks pretty gorgeous too!

  7. Burn for Burn looks tempting....so does Gilded Age.

Oh, I really hate moving, except that it does help me clear out stuff I really don't need. My last move was five years ago, and I'm still shuddering at how challenging it was (I had lived in my bigger space for 13 years, so you can imagine the process of eliminating stuff and downsizing!).

Glad you're settling in. Enjoy! Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST

  8. Gilded Age looks great. I've often wondered what it would be like to live in the 20's. Probably lots of decadence like there is in 2012!

  14. OMG I remember moving a few years ago. I was going insane having my babies in boxes (my books).
Hope you can get organized soon!
And The Gilded Age caught my eye there.. enjoy your reads!

Gilded Age sounds very good. I have City of Veils but haven't read it yet.

  16. Just the thought of moving makes me anxious... I hate packing and unpacking. Remodeling my office and packing up my bookcases for a few days made me disoriented! Happy reading once you get settled in.

  19. Oh, I so love the sound of both of these! And the covers are absolutely gorgeous. o: Hope you'll enjoy them both!

And yay on the move!! I'm in the middle of my own actually and have been furniture shopping like crazy, since we barely had anything! (I'm moving in with the boyfriend). I'm excited! We're doing new floors now though, so the moving in isn't until next weekend. :) Yay!
