Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadian readers! I hope you had a chance to spend it with your loved ones. This week I received 2 review books.

The Casual Vacancy by J K Rowling (I'm 53% done, and struggling to finish)

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton ( very excited to read it)

    I am waiting for my copy of The Casual Vacancy (hoping they remembered to send it actually). Looks like a lot of people are struggling with it.

    I heard The Casual Vacancy wasn't the most exciting book in the world! It's a shame you're struggling with it - try taking a break with something else, then go back to it with fresh eyes. Or of course you could just chuck it, life's too short for boring books!

    I want The Secret Keeper...and, of course, I'm curious about A Casual Vacancy. I'm glad I'm waiting to see what others think, though. Hope the reading picks up.

    I've heard not-so-good things about the Rowling book, so I am curious to see what you think. The Secret Keeper is one I'd like to read. Enjoy!

    It would be hard to know where to go after the Potter series. I'm not sure I'm even going to try to read Casual Vacancy. The other looks good though!
